Students from Central Michigan University review their “fictional plan” with their “pretend clients” in 2019 IARFC National Financial Plan Competition Finals in Nashville, TN. The International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC®) is in the early stages of its IARFC National Financial Plan Competition. 15 Universities representing 90 students divided into 58 teams have registered to compete in the 2020 event culminating in team presentations at the IARFC Annual Board Meetings in Cincinnati, OH next April. Nominations accepted for IARFC US Chapter Board of Directors The International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC®) is issuing a call for nominations for their US Chapter Board of Directors. Two current members will have fulfilled their two term limits, one member is up for re-election, and there is a Director vacancy to be filled. The International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC®) is reaching out to corporate entities in the financial services industry to support their 2020 National Financial Plan Competition. The competition challenges undergraduate university students to craft a financial plan, the core of a consultant’s practice, and submit their recommendations for judging. Working from a fictional family financial case narrative, the students have to analyze data, find solutions, and present their financial plan articulately.
