If you have not heard, the IARFC is holding the Business Owner Consulting Workshop and the Finals of the National Financial Plan Competition at the Charlotte Motor Speedway this year.

The Association has teamed up with the Charlotte Motor Speedway Club to give attendees the unique opportunity to conduct business along with touring this nationally known NASCAR facility.  It’s two days worth of events:  workshop, tour, dinner and then the competition finals – all in one visit!

Business Owner Consulting Workshop

Wednesday, April 29th begins with the Business Owner Consulting Workshop (BOCW) – conducted by Ed Morrow, CEO of the IARFC.  Business owners are an underserved market that need help navigating the complexities of their financial issues.  Learn how to approach business owners with practical solutions to their most common problems.  Ed Morrow goes through scenarios where the Financial Consultant can service this market sector while charging fees.   Included are practice oriented tools on a CD ROM that get you started.  Find out more by contacting the IARFC and talking with Amy Primeau.

Then – Feel the Thrill Speedway Tour

After the BOCW, you can participate in the “refueled” Feel the Thrill Tour.   This event offers fans a close-up look at areas that are off-limits on race days. You will see the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Garage, navigate through two infield race tracks, make your way down Pit Road and take a picture in Victory Circle. Learn the history of Charlotte Motor Speedway while enjoying a comfortable van ride around the Superspeedway where you will feel the full-tilt force of the 24-degree banking. Plus, visit zMAX Dragway and The Dirt Track at Charlotte on this exciting tour!

Winding Down – Dinner at the Speedway Club

After the tour, enjoy dinner at the Speedway Club at Charlotte Motor Speedway – one of the world’s most unique entertainment venues.  With a view that overlooks the famous superspeedway, The Speedway Club is the perfect place for entertaining clients, family and friends.  Experience first-hand what their members have come to expect from a prestigious private Club: comfort and service at an unprecedented value. Combining the thrill with the elegance and service you deserve, The Speedway Club is your club on race day and throughout the year!

Friday – National Financial Plan Competition

The second day of your visit April 30th is the exciting conclusion of the IARFC National Financial Plan Competition.  You get to be the judge as you watch 3 teams of potential financial services professionals vie for the top spot.  Network with your peers and listen to presentations from experienced Financial Consultants.   It is an interesting day of learning while supporting an event that reaches out to university students – the future of our profession.
