The International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC®) – US Chapter is pleased to announce two outstanding members who have given their time and energy to support the IARFC thus earning them the Chapter’s Ambassador Award. Given annually, the Ambassador Award recognizes their individual achievements and acknowledges their dedication in serving the IARFC Mission.

This Mission recognizes world-class financial consultants and empowers them to make a transformational difference in the financial lives of the families and communities they serve.

The criteria for the Ambassador Award are:

  • IARFC member for more than 3 years of membership
  • Adherence to the IARFC Code of Ethics and have a sound record of business integrity with no suspension or revocation of any professional license
  • Successfully supported the goals of the Association and has served with extraordinary efforts of time, service, and dedication

The recipients so designated for 2023 are:

Lisa Ford, MRFC®, Ascend Financial Planning and Wealth Mgmt in Dallas, TX
US Chapter Executive Vice President

Gregory Kurinec, MRFC®, Bentron Financial Group Inc. in Downers Grove, IL

These recipients represent a leadership presence in the Association as together they maintain a position on the US Chapter Board of Directors and serve on committees that deal with Association policy and procedures. Specifically, both have made thoughtful decisions and given insightful guidance on the Ethics Committee.

“We rely on our Ambassadors to bring their expertise and leadership to the US Chapter,” explained US Chapter President Bradley K. Maples Sr., MRFC®. “Lisa and Greg excel in their position as Board Members and are important contributors to making the Chapter more member-centric. Their work on the Ethics Committee upholds the IARFC Code of Ethics and the Association’s commitment to the consumer as a conscientious resource for financial professionals. I have come to rely on the expertise and experience of these consultants in their many areas of knowledge.”

The 2023 Ambassador Awards were recently presented by Trustee Chair, Barry L. Dayley, MRFC®.

“This is not something that we give to just anyone,” commented Dayley. “Only members who give outstanding service to the Association deserve this kind of attention. I am grateful for those, who find that doing their best in any given leadership role, are part of the IARFC.”
