We are headed to Nashville, TN – March of 2019
The International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC) announces the exciting location for its 2019 Annual Conference March 20 – 22, 2019. With a resort motto of “Enjoy More to See and Do at Gaylord Opryland”, the IARFC combines business and pleasure at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN.
As an opportunity to gain Continuing Education credits, the IARFC will offer a diverse schedule of industry related topics from experts in the financial and marketing area.
“These CE sessions are at the core of our offered RFA®, RFC® designations and MRFC credential,” explains IARFC Chairman and CEO, H. Stephen Bailey, MRFC. “The necessity of keeping abreast of current trends in financial services is a mandatory requirement important to our clients and their financial future. Moreover it is a fiduciary responsibility.”
Complementing this educational aspect will be vendors and exhibitors who bring their specific knowledge and trade tools for display.
National Financial Plan Competition
A returning activity is for attendees to judge the IARFC National Financial Plan Competition Finals. Three student teams will make it through preliminary judging and be prepared to present their Financial Plans in person. This final phase combines the spirit of competition along with real world experience that has in the past, been invaluable to those college students who have participated.
“We find it is a popular event within the Annual Conference,” relates Plan Competition Coordinator Susan Cappa. “The practitioner judges enjoy meeting the future consultants of the industry, while the students network with potential employers and mentors.”
Association Awards Banquet
The highlight of the two day event is an Association Awards Banquet. Featuring a financial industry-based Keynote Speaker, the schedule includes honoring those who have contributed to the IARFC with their dedication and work. During this evening, the winners of the National Financial Plan Competition will be announced.
